Eredi di Cobelli 'Grill' comes from local red varietal Teroldego. The vineyard is located 300 metres above sea level. 'Grill' is a wine with a classic style, characterised by the particular chalky soils of the Sorni area, which give a decidedly mineral and savory imprint to the wines. The Teroldego grapes are hand harvested with every care taken to avoid damage until they are pressed. The wine is ready three years after harvest having spent at least two years in Barriques to develop.
In the glass, Grill has an intense and dark ruby red colour. The nose opens to aromas of small dark berry fruits like blackberry and blueberry with hints of undergrowth, humus and delicate spices. The palate has good structure, with a tannic texture well integrated into the body of the wine. The aromas are delicate, accompanied by a slightly almond note. The finish is persistent, fresh and sapid. Try pairing this wine with rabbit or sausage pasta.
