The Roncus Val di Mièz excellently expresses the union between two elegant and international vines. A merlot (80%) with soft and enveloping characteristics is accompanied by the body and freshness of cabernet franc (20%). Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation with ageing for 18 months in 500 litre barrels followed by six months in the bottle. Ruby red in colour, the nose stands out for its strongly green and spicy notes topped with a soft touch of slightly ripe fruit. Warm, rich and enveloping in the mouth, balanced by a good freshness and the constant herbaceous note.
