The Possente family has a long history on the land of the north west coast of Sicily having traditionally passed down the line from Father to Son. Located in the province of Trapani along hills 400m above sea level between the towns of Alcamo and Salaparuta, the vines grow luxuriant thanks to its mineral rich sandy and chalky soil along with a typical Mediterranean climate. Wine has been produced in this area since the 16th century. Possente was among the first Sicilian wineries to be certified organic and go to every length to produce wines that capture the natural surrounds of their environment.
