Alberto Voerzio Barolo is a full bodied wine made strictly using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The 2014 has a medium intensity with soft tannins. Fermentation is spontaneous using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. The Barolo has spent 24 months in french oak. It is still a young wine with many years of potential ageing. Recommended decanting before drinking. The Barolo is best paired with game, truffles and hard cheeses.
