2013 Cantina della Vernaccia Montiprama
Cantina della Vernaccia has used 100% Nieddera grapes for their Montiprama. The young wine is transformed in the early months of the year after the harvest, in French oak barrels (casks and barriques) where it remains in refinement for about 8-10 months at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C. After bottling remains in storage in the basement for 60-90 days before sale. The Montiprama has a good structure and intensity, has aroma of red fruits and toasted wood, with a strong and persistent taste. Best paired with dishes of pasta and roast meats.
