Castello delle Paneretta Chianti Classico is a red Tuscan wine made using 85% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo and 5% Colorino grapes. The grapes are hand picked, fermentation on the skins at a controlled temperature of 25-27c in stainless steel for 10-12 days. The Chianti Classico is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
The Chianti Classico is an elegant and persistent wine with hints wild berry. The tannins are there but softened with a hint of oak. Castello delle Paneretta Chianti Classico is great paired with poultry and game.
