The Clown is made with 100% Nebbiolo from soil of calcareous clay and sand, vines are 10 years old. Fermentation is made spontaneously in stainless steel and the wine is with its skins for 30 days. The Nebbiolo has been aged for 14 months in 1000 litre oak barrels. This wine is organic and suitable for Vegans. Il Clown is an elegant wine with fine tannins and firm acidity. Earthy with forrest fruits and a hint of wood smoke. Try pairing with a good quality steak, peking duck, triple cream cheese and washed rind.
