Terresinis is a dry white wine using 85% Vernaccia and 15% Vermentino grapes. Vernaccia is a typical varietal from the mid-west part of Sardinia. 30% of the wine has been fermented in oak barrels and 70% in stainless steel. Once the wine has fermented it is aged on lees for two months with weekly battonage giving the wine complexity and structure. The wine then rests for four months in cement tanks before filtration and bottling.
Terresinis has a smooth, light oak character to the wine. On the nose white fruits such as apple and pear with a subtle hint of baking spices. On the palate Terresinis is smooth and well balanced with a good length and medium body. The Vernaccia is best paired with fish dishes.
