It is La Rasina's desire is to obtain a wine that can be presented to customers with all the fragrance and freshness the Sangiovese produced in Montalcino can evoke. La Rasina Rosso di Montalcino is made using 100% Sangiovese grapes and follows the strict rules of the DOC. The Rosso di Montalcino is aged in oak barrels for five months. 15,000 bottles are produced.
La Rasina Rosso di Montalcino is fresh and fragrant on the nose. It is a full-bodied wine of good structure, savory with bold tannins and an intense finish. Best decanted and paired with grilled red meat, and mushroom risotto.
