Fattoria di Piazzano

Fattoria di Piazzano lies 20km south west of Florence in the hills just south of the town Empoli. The big Tuscan sky offered its 1948 founder, Otello Bettarini , the opportunity to follow his two greatest passions – wine and astronomy.
Now it is run by his great niece and nephew Ilaria e Rolando. The Bettarini’s main objective is to bottle their family’s love and respect of the land and those who live and work around it. Annual production 180,000 bottles on the 34 hectares under vine.
