Dicomano, Tuscany
Voltumna is a collective project that promotes a common understanding of the earth’s vitality. It is located at an elevation of 300 m in the Tuscan Apennines in the Mugello Valley – an area where green forests still dominate the landscape, and cool temperatures refresh the vines.
Voltumna’s wines are made from pinot noir and sangiovese grapes grown biodynamically where the rhythm of nature dictates the pace – of the work. The grapes are hand-picked bunch by bunch, fermented their own yeasts, not filtered, not clarified, just tasted and tested before being deemed ready to drink.
