Vicentini is a small family winery where Agostino works with his wife Teressa and their children Emanuele and Francesca. The family cellar and home is in San Zeno, an unassuming village at the mouth of the Val d‘Illarsi, which has the dubious honour of nestling inside both the Soave and Valpolicella DOCs but is also outside of their respective Classico zones. This has done little to deter the family from making some of the region’s most respected wines.

2022 Vicentini Agostino 'Terrelunghe' Soave DOC – Chent'annos (chentannos.com.au)
Soave is made with a blend of Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave that has been vinified exclusively in steel. The perfume is typical of white wildflowers with a hint of herbs. The Soave is of medium body with aromas of sweet almond peach and citrus. A note of zesty acidity gives the wine lively, food-friendly appeal.
2020 Vicentini Agostino 'Il Casale' Soave DOCG – Chent'annos (chentannos.com.au)
The Soave Superiore "Il Casale" by Agostino Vicentini is made with 100% Garganega grapes vinified exclusively in steel. Il Casale has aged for 12 months on its lees before bottling. The Soave is a medium-bodied white wine with an intensely aromatic nose of yellow peach and orange blossom with a herbaceous finish of hay and sage. On the palate it is soft and fresh with citrus and green fruits and a mineral-long finish.
2021 Vicentini Agostino Valpollicella DOC – Chent'annos (chentannos.com.au)
Vicentini Agostino Valpolicella is a classic blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone. The Valpolicella is a brilliant ruby colour, with intense perfume characteristic of Corvina grapes with pleanty of bright cherry fruit and gently savoury pomegranate notes.
