Alberto Voerzio Barolo is a full bodied wine made strictly using 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The 2015 has a medium intensity with soft tannins. Fermentation is spontaneous using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. The Barolo has spent 24 months in french oak. It is still a young wine with many years of potential ageing. Recommended decanting before drinking. La Serra Barolo is best paired with traditional Piemonte cuisine like game, mushroom, truffles and hard cheeses.
