Piazzano Rio Camerata Chianti is made with 85% Sangiovese and 15% Colorino grapes. Maceration is carried out for three weeks on the skins. Alcoholic and Malolactic fermentation occur using indigenous yeasts and then it is left to age in glass lined cement tanks. The Chianti is ruby red with a fragrance of red berry. On the palate it offers softness with hints of red cherry, underbrush and spice. This savory Chianti wine pairs well with cured meats, wild boar ragu and hard cheeses.
