2022 Le Terre Diverse 'Bacio e Scannisi' Vino Greco di Tufo DOCG is a collaboration between Tuscan winemakers Paolo Caciorgna and Nicola Berti that started in Irpinia, an area of excellence that is attracting more and more attention. In collaboration with winery Benito Ferrara the grapes are grown at 400 meters above sea level, cultivated entirely with Greco grapes, the vineyard is set in one of the best-known areas for the production of Greco di Tufo on a mix of clayey-sandy soil, calcareous with sulphurous veins below.
This Italian white wine is made with 100% Greco, a grape variety known for its intense expressions and excellent longevity. On the nose, typical hints of white flowers and fruits open to hints of iodine and Greco's distinctive bitter almond finish. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied and delicious. A perfect wine for a 'baccalà alla pertecaregna'
