Fattoria di Piazzano Messidoro is rose style wine made from a blend of Sangiovese and Syrah grapes. The blend is fermented in glazed cement vats and aged in them for months before bottling. The Messidoro offers fresh fruit on the nose and is fresh and lively on the palate. The Messidoro is best paired with lighter dishes like proscuitto and melon, tuna carpaccio or a seafood pasta.
