La Tunella Pinot Nero is an intense ruby red wine grown in the hills of Friuli. The Pinot nero grapes are harvested in the first week of September. The Pinot Nero is matured in large french oak barrels for a few months before bottling.
The La Tunella Pinot Noir has evident raspberry and wild berry flavours, with delicate warm spice. A pleasant, dry and slightly aromatic palate, with a subtle bitter note and velvetiness. Best paired with white meats and poultry in general, fatty fish (eels), served with or without a sauce.
